



Asics came to BUFF PRODUCTIONS wanting to promote their latest range of walking shoes
Their only requirements were that BUFF PRODUCTIONS needed to show the different categories in the range.
BUFF PRODUCTIONS came up with a solution that showed ASICS core strengths - technical credibility in a form that relates to the target market.
BUFF PRODUCTIONS created the 'Asics Walk-umentary' to show the experiences of 3 people using the shoes over 3 months.
After sourcing talent BUFF PRODUCTIONS collaborated with Asics in devising an online strategy that would create episodes for the web supported with a print campaign.

Fidelity Corporation approached BUFF PRODUCTIONS to create the latest marketing campaign for their Australian Hip Hop artist - Drapht. His previous album was wildly successful and they were looking for a new vehicle to promote their artist on the eve of the release of his latest album.
Their brief was open. Main stipulation was that the viewers were provided a greater insight into Drapht’s personality. They also wanted to create a visual solution that worked against the clichés usually associated with this type of music.
Through collaboration with the artist BUFF PRODUCTIONS came up with an episodic angle on the story in the song – The story of Drapht’s life. This idea played out in one location and cleverly utilised colour, production design and movement to make the journey feel continuous.
The project maximized the dollars spent via some innovative producing and well orchestrated creative. The project was a glowing success and was instrumental in helping the album to NO#1 on the ARIA charts. No small offering, for at that point in the year (June) this was the first number one for an Australian artist for 2011.
